Kicked out of cities and forbidden from town
We rode a trail less traveled

As the time went on I felt a changing
The travels dulled his claws and trimmed his teeth
It seemed as though my monster was fading
But seemingly the loneliness increased

I watched him stand in awe of the forest
He was strangely brilliant in the flowers
And one day he walked into the ocean
And I returned to my world of roads and towers
